Course Overview
Level 1 requires student to be 18 or older. Firearm must be unloaded and secured (preferably in a safe) during online classroom module.

There is an in-person shooting component to this course that is limited to set states/dates (see dropdown for range dates). Student must bring firearm, 100 rounds ammunition, and eye & ear protection to shooting lesson. Student is responsible for any range fees.
This class does not meet state requirements to apply for a concealed carry license, but is a acceptable prerequisite to meet NRA Pistol Instructor certification requirement to teach concealed carry. Students must be 21 if planning to teach CHCL.

Concealed Carry Concepts (non-nra)
Course Overview
This online CCW course is for concealed carry knowledge only (non-license class). Students receive a comprehensive explanation on how to safely handle their firearm and when it can be used for self-defense, choosing a firearm for personal protection, ammunition selection, holstering, situational awareness, cover and concealment, defensive mindset, personal defense strategies, shooting techniques, interstate travel with a firearm, TSA gun regulations, aftermath of a shooting event, and more will be discussed!
8-hour objective based course. Must be 21 or older. Firearm must be unloaded and secured (preferably in a safe) during classroom module.

Ladies! Learn the concepts to better protect yourself and your family! This online class is exclusively for WOMEN ONLY and focuses on achieving the proper training, skills, and mindset for carrying a firearm in public. Taught by a female certified instructor, this course is for CCW concept knowledge only (non-license class). Women specific personal defense concepts, techniques, and holstering options will be explored. Women Only Beginner Pistol - Distance Learning
Course Overview
Hello ladies! This online beginner pistol class was designed just for you! Learn just about everying you need to know (and then some) to be a safe and responsible gun owner; including safe gun handling, pistol parts & operations, maintenance, storage, gun cleaning, and basic shooting techniques in a online classroom environment. This course uses hands-on instruction, visual presentations, and expert lectures by a female certified instructor. The same course as Introduction to Pistol only with a female gun owner in mind.
6-hour objective based course. Must be 16 or older. Firearm must be unloaded and secured (preferably in a safe) during classroom module.

NRA Personal Protection in the Home PPITH - Distance Learning

Course Overview
Students who register for the NRA Personal Protection in the Home (PPITH) online class are interested in learning the concepts of protecting their family, home, and surroundings. This is an intermediate level course. This objective based class takes students beyond the normal operations of a firearm into when and how you can use your firearm to protect your residence, creating a "safe room", strategies for personal defense, how to discourage thieves, preventing unauthorized use of home firearm, controlling residential confrontations, home defense laws, shooting techniques for accuracy, and interacting with the police after an incident. Continued opportunities for skill development is discussed. To meet national standards and receive your official NRA certificate students must complete the online course as well as in-person shooting training.
